EXCHANGE / RETURNS :

We pride ourselves to produce high quality items that you are proud to wear  on your wedding day. We understand that ordering online can be difficult, as it's not until you see and touch an item that you feel truely satisfied with your decision. Given this, we have flexible returns policies on our veils and accessories so that you feel secure in purchasing. Of course, we hope you will love your VERAVEL items.

Trying on your veil/items: in order to protect your veil when reviewing length, we recommend placing a clean, soft surface, as carpet and flooring can often hide items that will 'catch', pull or dirty a veil. Be sure to protect the veil from fake tan, make up or oils on your skin if holding it close to your body when reviewing style & length.

If a return/exchange is required: Once received, contact must be made within 7 days with intention to return (emma@veravel.com.au). We will inform you of the returns address via email. A tracking number of your returned item must be emailed within 14 days of receiving.

Veil must be returned in perfect condition (unworn, unwashed, not damaged or dirtied). We take QC photos of every veil as a reference if required in a case of dispute. Original packaging (Gift box/bag) must be returned in the condition it was sent. Please re-use the shipping box and protective packing to return safetly. Once received, we will check the condition of the veil and if it is in original condition, refund minus shipping costs (approx A$15). Cost of return postage is on customer. If an exchange is preferred, please email emma@veravel.com.au

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. To start a return, you can contact us at emma@veravel.com.au. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  You can always contact us for any return questions.

Care Instructions

VEIL CARE

How to care for your veil?

Once you have received your veil it is important to take it out of the packaging  and drape it over a soft hanger (fabric or wood) somewhere unobstructed. The natural properties will allow the wrinkles to gently fall out on their own if left to drop. In the event that you have some stubborn wrinkles, we recommend hanging it in the bathroom with a hot shower on for 5-10 minutes to allow the fabric to soften further. Do not iron, veils are very delicate and require special handling, professional steaming maybe required.

How do I know if ivory will match my dress?

We primarily use ‘ivory’ we use for our veils has a warm off-white hue, chosen to suit the majority of designer gowns. We always not in the decision to confirm (ivory or white). You can always ask your dress maker for confirmation on tones as well.

Do I need a hair trial with my veil?

If you are choosing to wear a tradition veil (with a hair-comb) we do recommend a pre-wedding hair trial. These veils are best placed by your hairdresser and therefore will help them to understand the look you want and how it will work with your veil. If you are wearing a pin veil you can just take the clip (provided with veil purchase) to the hairdresser for placement.

What is a Blusher?

The blusher is the piece of the veil that is designed tone worn over your face, and is usually worn for the ceremony.

How do I store my veil after my wedding?

We recommend keeping your veil in the VERAVEL dust bag provided, in a cool dry place, away from any mildew or mould.

HAIR JEWELLERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Our hair jewellery item can be fragile and delicate.Jewellery containing glass, resin or semi-precious stones are delicate and should be handled with care. If pressure is placed on the items or if they are bent out of shape, they can become weak, which may result in breakage. Please ensure to keep hair jewellery in its original packaging for safe keeping. Abrasive or chemical cleaners should never be used. Due to the nature of gold and silver plating, the finish may rub off or discolour over time. This is natural wear and tear and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
